Music Ministry
....hear and believe!

Our church is blessed with an abundance of musical talent. Open your spirit and your heart to these special sounds made in the glory of God.

FROM THE CHOIR DIRECTOR:
Please consider joining our little family of singers! Our rehearsals are on Wednesday nights 7:00-8:00 pm. We accept new members at any time throughout the year, and would love to have you. Don’t feel that you must be able to read music like a pro or sing like an opera star! Our rehearsals will make you feel comfortable no matter what your music background. Our goal is much the same as in education… “No singer left behind!”

I want to encourage all of the young people to come and enjoy a musical hour on Sunday afternoons. We will continue to hear the angelic voices of our Junior High singers, but I also want to encourage our younger members to come out as well.

Once again, thanks so much for all of your words of appreciation and encouragement. Do not hesitate to speak with me if you have questions about membership in the chancel choir or youth music program.

FROM THE HANDBELLS DIRECTOR:
We could always use more ringers! If you are interested, even just a little curious, be sure to catch me after service on Sundays, or call the office, and I will return your call. I am very excited to get going with some new music and some great new memories.

Please join us!

Choir
Choir practice is held each Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Pauline Sexton leads a group of talented singers to new heights each Sunday, with special performances at Christmas and Easter. Special programs and performance dates will be listed on our calendar.

Handbells

Our church is blessed with two groups of ringers; adults and youth. Periodically, you can catch the Lynn Flowers Memorial Handbell Choir during Sunday service. Talk to director Bryan Sexton or any handbell member if you would like to join in! Practice is on Sunday afternoons at 3:00.... join us!

Piano & Organ

Lucy Snearley on the piano, and Norma Taylor on the organ (which fills an entire wall of the sanctuary!) provide a beautiful backdrop to worship services.
