In addition to our usual Sunday morning service (10:30 am) and Christian Education (9:00 am), please join us for the following: CHRISTMAS TABLEAUX Plan now to attend this special musical event on December 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church. Invite your friends. Four of the five medieval plays selected for the tableaux are from “The Christmas Play” found in the Carmina Burana manuscripts of 12th and 13th Century Bavarian Germany, and the fifth is from the Corpus Christi Cycle written in England in 1400. The plays are typical of miracle or mystery plays used in churches in the Middle Ages to teach Bible stories. There is not charge for tickets, but they are required. Pick up your tickets at the church office, Melhart Music Center, or the UTPA theater box office. CHRISTMAS CAROLING Join members of our church for our annual Christmas caroling on Sunday, December 22.
